Privacy notice
What we do with the information you give us, how long we keep it, and how to get it back or have it deleted.
Your information, plainly explained
Last reviewed: October 2026. This notice covers www.armada-security.co.uk only.
Who we are
Armada Security Ltd (company number 17309258), trading as Armada Security, is the data controller for information collected through this website. You can reach us by post at 2nd Floor College House, 17 King Edwards Road, Ruislip, London, HA4 7AE, by phone on 0333 054 0350, or by email at info@armada-security.co.uk.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address, the property type and service you selected, and anything you write in the message box. We do not ask for and do not want payment details, identity documents, or details of your existing security arrangements beyond what is useful for a survey.
With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site, such as which pages are visited and roughly which area visitors come from. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_8K50MVZXYL) that last up to two years. They are only set if you click Accept on our cookie banner. If you click Reject, nothing from Google is loaded at all. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. We do not use advertising cookies.
We remember your cookie choice for 12 months by saving a small note in your browser. It contains no personal details and is needed for the banner to work. Apart from Google Analytics (only if you accept), every file this site needs, including its fonts, is served from our own server, and enquiries you send through the form go straight from our website to our own inbox.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you want one, to arrange and quote for a site survey. The lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. Where an enquiry turns into a job, we then process your details on the basis of the contract between us.
Who sees it
Enquiries are sent directly from our website to our own inbox and are stored in our email system, which is provided by our web hosting company. No outside form service is involved. If you accept analytics cookies, Google receives information about your visit to this site and processes it on our instructions under a contract. Google is based in the United States, so this information may be transferred outside the UK; we rely on the safeguards Google offers for such transfers under UK data protection law. We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone else for marketing. If you become a customer, your details are also kept in our customer management system, which is hosted with our web hosting provider and protected by a password and an extra login layer.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Where work goes ahead, we keep the customer record for six years after the last service visit, which is the period we need it for contractual, warranty and tax purposes.
Keeping it secure
This site is served only over HTTPS, so anything you send through the form is encrypted in transit. Access to the mailbox that receives enquiries is restricted and protected with multi-factor authentication.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, or object to our use of it. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw that consent at any time. Email info@armada-security.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
Reporting a security problem with this site
If you have found a vulnerability in this website, our contact details for reporting it are published at /.well-known/security.txt. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue to us in good faith.
